Essential Functions
- Trusted Advisor to SVP and DPM (US) Leadership Team
- Translate business strategies and priorities into P&O strategies and plans
- Build organizational capabilities
- Deliver business results with and through the Novo Nordisk P&O organization
- Member of the DPM (US) Leadership Team (LT)
- Coach business and P&O leaders, teams, and individuals
- Lead the DPM (US) P&O organization (P&O and Training Partners); manage, develop, engage, and retain talent
- Accountable for the full DPM (US) P&O budget (budget/spending aligned with forecast and FTE development)
- Accountable for Strategic Priorities across CMC&PS P&O with the CMC&PS P&O Leadership Team
- Responsible as PoC for the US Employee Relations Team
- Partner with Line of Business and P&O leadership to initiate, lead, drive, and facilitate:
- Organizational Development and Effectiveness
- Culture and Engagement (NN Way)
- Change Management
- Talent Management and Development
- Workforce Management
- Training (strategic direction; high-quality, compliant learning solutions)
Physical Requirements
- Open-office environment; frequent distraction possible
- Travel up to 10% of the time (may vary by role)
Supervisory
- Supervisory.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (accredited); minimum 10 years progressively responsible HR/Organization Management/Employee Relations experience (preferably pharmaceutical/healthcare)
- In lieu of Bachelor’s: minimum 15 years progressively responsible HR experience (preferably pharmaceutical/healthcare)
- Master’s degree in HR/Business Administration or related field (preferred)
- HR Professional certification desired
- Minimum 7 years experience in direct people management roles
- Ability to deliver results in a virtual, complex, matrix environment
- Experience leading large, complex transformations (e.g., M&A, organic growth, divestiture)
- Novo Nordisk value chain insight/understanding (preferred)
- Experience managing global, multi-disciplined HR teams (preferred)
