Role Summary
National Field Reimbursement Lead responsible for transforming Pfizer Oncology’s national field reimbursement strategy across oral oncolytics (Part D) and physician-administered infused therapies (Part B/buy & bill), owning the national vision/execution for access and reimbursement across a 25+ person field team and serving as AI-enabled reimbursement infrastructure champion. Reports to VP, Oncology Patient Solutions & Alliances; member of OPSA Leadership Team.

Role Responsibilities
- Define and execute national field reimbursement strategy aligned to buy & bill and infused portfolio priorities.
- Lead transformation roadmap and build field capabilities/infrastructure; partner with Commercial Oncology Leadership and brand teams.
- Liaise with VP/OPSA LT on access trends, team performance, and market intelligence.
- Partner with Marketing, USMA+PSS, and CEP teams to align reimbursement strategy with launch plans and portfolio milestones.
- Design and execute aligned field reimbursement support for critical launches.
- Lead and mentor FRD and PAN teams; develop prioritization, support, and high-performance culture.
- Provide buy & bill and medical benefit expertise (J-code/HCPCS, HOPPS, infusion coding/billing, site-of-care; prior auth, peer-to-peer, appeals, denial analytics).
- Lead IDN/health system engagement (account planning, QBRs, P&T/formulary frameworks) and territory redesign.
- Champion AI/digital integration (e.g., Coach 360, automated denial analysis, predictive modeling; CoverMyMeds PA automation; FHIR benefit verification).
- Lead post-prescription patient journey expectations (initiation, persistence, reimbursement support).

Qualifications
Basic:
- 12+ years pharma industry experience with proven oncology access/reimbursement leadership.
- Buy & bill experience: medical benefit, J-code/HCPCS, HOPPS, infusion center economics, 340B.
- Track record engaging IDNs/academic centers/health systems.
- Experience managing field reimbursement teams in matrixed multi-brand oncology.
- Hub vendor/third-party reimbursement intermediary and co-pay assistance program oversight.
Leadership & Capabilities:
- Matrix leadership influence without direct authority; executive communication/presentation; strategic planning and change management.
- Compliance/regulatory adherence in highly regulated environment.
Education:
- B.S. required.
Preferred:
- National-scope line leadership for 20+ colleagues.
- EHR/digital tools (Epic/Cerner, CoverMyMeds, FHIR benefits verification); claims analytics/denial trend dashboards.
- AI-enabled field tool familiarity; P&T/formulary experience; strong relationship-building.

Work/Travel
- Up to 50% travel; US remote (East Coast preferred).
