Senior Director Oncology Biostatistics

Role: Senior Director of Oncology Biostatistics leading statistical functions within BMS's therapeutic areas. Objectives: provide statistical input to development strategies, oversee study design, analysis, and regulatory submissions; guide cross-functional teams; ensure regulatory compliance. Responsibilities: manage budgets and resources; direct statisticians to deliver high-quality analyses; contribute to clinical development plans, submissions, and regulatory interactions; promote process improvements, industry standards, and training; foster collaborations and represent the company externally. Requirements: PhD or MS in statistics or biostatistics with 12+ years' experience in clinical trials, drug development, or healthcare; proficiency in SAS, R, or Python; strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills. Preferred: experience in global regulatory interactions, industry involvement, and management (5+ years preferred for managerial roles). High-Value: extensive expertise in biostatistics for oncology, biologics, or cell therapy; involved in early to late-phase development (Ph1-3), regulatory submissions, and cross-functional collaboration.
