Senior Director, National and Strategic Accounts

Remote; up to 50% travel.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the Market Access payer strategic plan/vision to support launch and future indications.
- Lead and inspire a team of national account directors to achieve market access objectives.
- Collaborate with commercial leadership on payer/organized customer access strategy, including input on pricing and contracting.
- Analyze coverage/reimbursement, payer policies, formularies, competitive landscape, pricing, and contracting strategies; identify and remove reimbursement/access barriers.
- Build engagement strategy and tactical plan for payer formulary coverage and access within key accounts.
- Recruit, train, and manage payer/GPO/organized customer account professionals.
- Partner cross-functionally (Payer Marketing, Trade/Channel, Patient Support Services, Field teams, Medical Affairs) to drive customer pull-through and contract compliance.
- Own key payer/provider account relationships; develop roadmaps, segmentation, and account plans.
- Engage and lead payer discussions to secure long-term partnerships.
- Manage budget/vendor resources; create payer tools/content with internal and external partners.

Qualifications:
- 15+ years bio/pharmaceutical experience; strong knowledge of current US payer models.
- 10+ years US payer and/or provider account management (NAM/RAM/KAM).
- 5+ years people management experience.
- Pharmaceutical/biotech experience preferred in Oncology.
- US product launch experience (preferred Oncology); knowledge of oncology oral therapy market and organized accounts/institutions.

Required/Preferred Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of compliance (including HIPAA), reimbursement, and product access.
- Knowledge of Medicare Part A-D, Medicaid, VA/DoD, and commercial payer policies/reimbursement/coverage/payment.
- Experience with HUB/co-pay/patient service coordination; patient and HCP pull-through support programs.
- Business planning/payer strategy development; negotiation skills; financial acumen; strong written/oral communication; data reporting.

Education: Bachelor’s required (health sciences or business/marketing preferred); MBA/PharmD or advanced degree plus.

Compensation: Base pay range $250,000–$275,000/year; total compensation includes equity, bonus, and benefits.
