Senior Director, Medical Affairs โ Respiratory
Reporting to the Vice President, Global Medical Strategy & Communications.
What Youโll Do
- Develop, implement, and lead therapy strategy and planning for Medical Affairs across all regions with a cohesive โOne Insmedโ approach.
- Drive Medical Affairs plans; ensure medical plans reflect strategy and deliver launch milestones.
- Provide medical leadership input to cross-functional partners (clinical, operations, HEOR, commercial) to ensure strong medical voice.
- Build an external respiratory therapy-area relationship network.
- Develop data generation strategy (including gap analysis) and evolve product data generation plans.
- Review publications; create medical backgrounders, FAQs, standard responses; develop internal training.
- Lead thought-leader engagement strategy and plan.
- Partner with Medical Strategy, Regions, and Finance to plan/manage annual medical activities budget.
- Collaborate across Medical Affairs, Regions, Commercial, and Development to drive Respiratory Franchise approach and integrate best practices.
Who You Are
- MD with previous pulmonology experience.
- Leadership experience across Medical Affairs.
- 8+ years pharmaceutical/biotech experience.
- Strong knowledge of Medical Affairs planning with prior launch experience.
- Ability to lead by influence in a matrixed team; independent contributor; change/process excellence; strong communication.
Nice to Have
- Board Certified Pulmonologist.
- Global/multi-region experience (including US).
Where Youโll Work / Travel
- Fully remote; occasional travel for meetings/events.
- Frequent domestic/international travel up to 25%.
Pay Range
- $273,000.00โ372,000.00 annual.
