Position Summary
Senior Director β Marketing, Caris MRD leads strategic marketing for the MRD portfolio, developing integrated marketing strategies to build awareness, strengthen positioning, and drive adoption among oncologists, health systems, and strategic partners. Partners cross-functionally to translate scientific innovation into customer-focused campaigns and commercial programs.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the annual MRD marketing strategy aligned to growth goals.
- Define segmentation, targeting, positioning, and messaging communicating clinical, economic, and patient value.
- Plan integrated campaigns across digital, field, events, content, and demand generation.
- Lead initiatives for product launches, new indications, scientific publications, commercial programs, and lifecycle management.
- Partner with Commercial Leadership to create sales enablement (presentations, tools, competitive intelligence, field communications, training).
- Collaborate with Medical Affairs and Clinical Development to produce compliant marketing materials.
- Support publication planning, advisory boards, symposia, meetings, and oncology conferences.
- Lead market research/voice-of-customer and monitor competitive intelligence to refine strategy.
- Coordinate commercialization across Product Management, Medical Affairs, Market Access, Commercial, Clinical Development, Business Development, and Corporate Communications.
- Manage agencies/vendors; develop brand, KOL/thought leadership, and key performance indicators.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelorβs degree required; MBA/advanced degree preferred.
- 10+ years progressive healthcare/life sciences/precision medicine marketing experience.
- Strong oncology/molecular diagnostics/genomics/precision medicine/MRD experience strongly preferred.
- Proven success in integrated marketing driving adoption and growth; experience with product launches in complex healthcare/life sciences settings.
- Strong physician marketing and understanding of clinical evidence, reimbursement, and market access.
- Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives in a matrix environment.
- Excellent communication, presentation, leadership, project management, and analytical skills.
