Role Summary
- Drive forward-looking marketing strategy and growth innovation across LillyDirect Consumer and HCP marketing.
- Identify where the business should place next bets (platforms, audiences, communities, partnerships, testing approaches) and own content strategy translating bets into strategic briefs.
- Set marketing goals, KPIs, and overall budget allocation for the growth portfolio; advise senior leadership on growth priorities and investment tradeoffs.
- Own measurable business impact of growth bets; reports to AVP of Marketing and Partnerships for LillyDirect US.

Key Responsibilities
- LD Enterprise Marketing Strategy: Shape and recommend LillyDirect forward-looking marketing growth strategy across Consumer and HCP; use consumer segmentation; set goals, KPIs, and budget allocation.
- Senior Leadership Influence: Advise AVP+ on strategic prioritization, investment tradeoffs, and long-term portfolio direction.
- Content Strategy & Briefing: Own content strategy and briefing across Consumer and HCP with cross-functional partners.
- Growth Initiatives & Investment Recommendations: Identify/evaluate/execute new growth opportunities; design and execute testing strategies; recommend investments/resourcing.
- Innovation Pipeline Ownership: Lead hypothesis-driven innovation pipeline; test/scale/retire initiatives; capture learnings; track cultural/media shifts; own innovation budget.
- Competitive Intelligence: Continuously assess competition and translate findings into leadership recommendations.
- Business Development & Investment Alignment: Partner on co-marketing deals and align scope, investment recommendations, and execution.
- Team Leadership and Management: Recruit/develop/retain marketing talent; foster inclusive, high-performing team culture.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Minimum 5 years of marketing experience
- Authorized to work in the United States full-time; Lilly will not sponsor visas.

Preferences
- 5+ years marketing experience spanning Consumer and HCP; consumer industry marketing experience
- Track record launching new channels/partnerships/innovative approaches
- Strong partnership/cross-functional collaboration
- Regulated industry (pharma/healthcare) preferred; people management preferred; ambiguity tolerance
- MBA with 7+ years marketing experience preferred
- Strong analytical skills; U.S. launch experience preferred
