Role Summary

Senior Director, IT - Finance/ERP leading technology vision and execution for Finance and the SAP Center of Excellence. Oversees financial systems across accounting, FP&A, procurement, treasury, and compliance, partnering with the CFO and Finance executives to drive a multi-year digital finance transformation using SAP S/4HANA, Ariba, SAP Analytics Cloud, and other enterprise platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Planning & Execution: develop and execute the financial technology strategy aligned with business objectives, evaluate and implement technologies to improve efficiency, manage the FinTech budget, and demonstrate ROI.
  • System Management: oversee the full lifecycle of financial systems from planning to deployment and ongoing maintenance; ensure security, regulatory compliance, scalability; manage vendor relationships and contracts.
  • Leadership & Team Management: lead and mentor a team of technology professionals; foster innovation; manage large-scale financial system implementations.
  • Collaboration & Communication: translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders; collaborate with cross-functional teams to address technology needs and streamline processes.
  • Risk & Compliance: ensure security and integrity of financial data; implement internal controls, manage data security, ensure regulatory compliance, develop disaster recovery and business continuity plans.

Qualifications

  • 15+ years of progressive IT leadership, with a minimum of 10 years in Finance systems and ERP strategy.
  • Deep expertise in SAP S/4HANA Finance (GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Controlling) and integration with Procurement and Supply Chain.
  • Proven experience in large-scale ERP implementations, global rollouts, and process re-engineering.
  • Strong command of financial operations β€” accounting, FP&A, treasury, procurement, compliance, and audit support.
  • Demonstrated ability to leverage advanced analytics, BI tools, and data visualization to drive insights.
  • Executive presence with ability to influence at the C-suite and Board level.
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Finance, or related field; MBA or relevant professional certifications (e.g., SAP Certified Application Professional, PMP, ITIL) strongly preferred.
