Responsibilities:
- Lead Medical Affairs activities for the inflammation pipeline; build/lead Medical Affairs presence in governance and inflammation therapeutic areas.
- Build and lead a team of 3–6 professionals (leadership, supervision, mentoring, career development).
- Collaborate cross-functionally (Clinical Development, Global Strategic Marketing, Global Value & Access, MA Research, affiliate MA teams) on strategic plans, evidence generation, scientific resources, conferences, and internal training.
- Build capabilities in medical strategy, evidence generation, stakeholder engagement, and launch readiness.
- Provide input into clinical planning and contribute to clinical trials across phases 1/2–4; communicate research needs to Clinical Development for global/US markets.
- Lead execution of research studies; support site evaluation and investigator engagement.
- Serve as Global MA representative on strategic cross-functional working groups.
- Ensure alignment across the inflammation portfolio; support data generation efforts.
- Attend major scientific conferences; develop and execute conference deliverables.
- Serve as MA lead on selected scientific topics; develop global scientific messages/resource development.
- Provide therapeutic area training; drive pre-launch planning; provide medical due diligence for BD/partnering.

Qualifications / Skills:
- Advanced scientific degree (MD/DO/PharmD/PhD or equivalent) + 12+ years relevant industry/clinical experience (prefer inflammation area); 5+ years pharma experience; people management experience highly preferred.
- Preferred: prior launch experience; MD/DO with inflammation-related training (rheumatology, immunology, IBD, dermatology, etc).
- Strong communication (verbal/written/visual), collaboration, analytical, synthesis, organization, autonomy; travel 20–30%.

Compensation/Benefits:
- Salary range: $281,010.00–$363,660.00; may be eligible for bonus, stock-based long-term incentives, paid time off, and medical/dental/vision/life insurance.
