Job Description

Responsibilities
- Serve as a strategic and trusted advisor to the CHRO and HR Leadership Team on business positioning, narrative development, stakeholder engagement, and reputational considerations.
- Anticipate risks and opportunities; independently identify communications needs and shape executive narratives.
- Develop and execute integrated communications strategies supporting talent, culture, and organizational priorities (including transformation initiatives and workforce engagement).
- Lead creation/review/refinement of executive materials (speeches, business updates, town halls, talking points, Q&A documents) and external thought leadership aligned to commercial priorities.
- Translate HR strategy, talent priorities, and organizational changes into clear, compelling messaging.
- Partner with the Communications Center of Excellence (Internal Communications, Employee Engagement Media Relations, Digital & Social, Issues Management) for coordinated execution.
- Coordinate cross-functionally with HR, Public Affairs, Legal, and others to ensure alignment and consistency.
- Support communications planning/execution during organizational change and sensitive workforce-related issues.
- Support executive preparation/coaching for internal/external engagements (industry events, media, leadership forums) and strengthen executive visibility.
- Leverage employee feedback and engagement data/insights to refine strategies.
- Manage external agencies and advisors.

Skills/Knowledge & Expectations (Required/Preferred)
- Deep experience in executive and internal communications in global/matrixed organizations.
- Strong understanding of employee engagement, organizational culture, and change management.
- Ability to influence senior leaders; exceptional strategic writing and storytelling; discretion with sensitive issues.
- Proven ability to translate complex initiatives into engaging communications; support leadership visibility and employee-facing communications.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills; ability to lead through influence, operate independently, manage ambiguity, and handle multiple priorities.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and 14+ years’ experience, or Master’s degree and 12+ years’ experience, or 12+ years’ experience in strategic communications/executive communications/corporate affairs or related roles in a public company or agency environment (healthcare/biopharmaceutical experience strongly preferred).

Benefits/Compensation (as stated)
- Salary range: $243,100.00 - $314,600.00; may include discretionary bonus, discretionary stock-based long-term incentives, paid time off, and company-sponsored medical/dental/vision/life insurance.
