Role: Senior Director of Health Economics & Outcomes Research (HEOR) leading payer evidence strategies for rare disease assets at BioMarin. Responsibilities: develop and execute asset-specific outcomes strategies aligned with clinical development, regulatory, and market access needs; collaborate cross-functionally with Value & Access, Medical, Clinical, and Regulatory teams; lead external engagements with HTA agencies and payers; oversee PRO measure development, validation, and patient-relevant endpoint planning within clinical trials; shape scientific communication and support evidence generation for regulatory and payer submissions; analyze patient-relevant outcomes data to strengthen value propositions; identify evidence gaps and inform future strategies. Requirements: 12+ years pharma experience, 7+ years in HEOR, with at least 5 years in patient-relevant outcomes research; advanced degree in health economics, outcomes research, epidemiology, or related field; deep understanding of global HTA and market access frameworks; proven track record in developing outcomes strategies, supporting HTA submissions, and external stakeholder engagement; experience with PRO development, validation, and regulatory interactions.
