Senior Director, Health Economics & Outcomes Research (HEOR)

Role: Lead the development and execution of payer evidence strategies focused on patient-relevant outcomes for rare disease assets within BioMarin’s portfolio. Responsibilities: shape outcomes research aligned with clinical development; collaborate with cross-functional teams (Value & Access, Clinical, Medical, Regulatory); engage external stakeholders including HTA agencies and patient groups; lead PRO measure development, validation, and evidence generation; support regulatory and HTA interactions; interpret clinical trial data for value storytelling; and guide strategic scientific communications. Requirements: 12+ years in pharma, with 7+ years in HEOR and 5+ years in patient-relevant outcomes research; advanced degree in health economics, epidemiology, or related field; deep expertise in market access, HTA, and PRO development; experience supporting HTA submissions and developing evidence strategies; proven stakeholder influence and leadership skills.
