General Summary:
The Medical Affairs Senior Director provides medical and scientific leadership in the assigned Therapeutic Area(s) (TA). Works with cross-functional teams to align scientific and medical strategies with corporate and key stakeholder needs and ensures flawless execution of Nephrology medical plans.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Focus on Kidney programs in Medical Affairs; support kidney indications for β€œpove” (IgAN, AMKD, and future indications); interpret scientific data and assess impact on scientific/medical understanding.
- Develop medical affairs plans, including Launch and Life Cycle Management plans.
- Share country/regional insights with global teams.
- Provide fair and balanced medical information and education to healthcare professionals and payers to support safe/effective use.
- Support patient access by assisting reimbursement dossier preparation/review and presenting scientific data to key access stakeholders.
- Perform/oversee medical/scientific training for field medical teams, commercial, and internal stakeholders.
- Contribute to the local Brand Team as TA scientific/medical representative, ensuring patient well-being and data integrity.
- Ensure country-level compliance with company policies, medical affairs SOPs, GCP and ICH.
- Assess local promotional materials; ensure claims are supported by scientific data and presented accurately/fairly/balanced.

Knowledge and Skills:
- Deep understanding of global medical, regulatory, and payer environments.
- Knowledge of guidelines/regulations for scientific/medical exchange with external stakeholders.
- Deep understanding of market access in key countries.
- Experience writing/reviewing scientific communications.
- Strong written/oral communication skills.
- Ability to build relationships in matrixed and external settings; resolve conflicts constructively; work in multidisciplinary, multicultural teams.

Education and Experience:
- M.D. (or equivalent), PhD, or PharmD.
- Typically 11 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Pay Range:
- $252,000 - $378,000

- Annual bonus and annual equity awards.
- Hybrid-Eligible: remote up to two days/week or On-Site: five days/week on-site with ad hoc flexibility.
