Senior Director, Field Reimbursement

Role: Lead field-based reimbursement strategy and team management for uniQure's gene therapy products, focusing on AMT-130. Responsibilities: oversee reimbursement managers working with treatment centers to optimize coverage, coding, and payment; develop and execute go-to-market plans; build relationships with healthcare providers and payers; stay informed on healthcare policy and industry trends; collaborate with cross-functional teams to maximize market access and business results; design performance metrics. Requirements: BS/BA in life sciences or related field; 12+ years in the biotech/pharma industry; 15+ years overall experience; proven leadership in field reimbursement teams; extensive launch experience within the last 3 years; deep understanding of US healthcare reimbursement, pricing, and access pathways; strong relationship management and communication skills. Preferred: experience in high-cost rare disease, gene therapy, surgically administered therapeutics; background in cell/gene therapy; previous roles in high-cost therapeutic management.
