Senior Director, Field Reimbursement

Reporting to the VP, US Payer & Reimbursement, this is a field-based Market Access role leading a team of field reimbursement managers who educate treatment centers on appropriate reimbursement dynamics for AMT-130 and its associated stereotactic, surgical administration procedure. Proactively identify coverage, coding and payment issues and lead cross-functional solutions to optimize patient access. Ensure urgent responses to external customer questions and educational needs; coordinate with other field-team leaders using an efficient “Ways of Working” model. Drive excellence in patient access, business objectives, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and implement Go to Market plans for field-based reimbursement specialists
- Build and maintain relationships with key HCP customers at organizations preparing to treat/treat patients with AMT-130
- Maintain payer landscape knowledge and adapt strategy based on evolving healthcare policies
- Stay ahead of industry trends/legislative changes and make recommendations to adjust field reimbursement strategy
- Provide insights and recommendations to commercial leadership
- Help design and establish performance goals and metrics for initial implementation
- Partner with Account Management, Patient Support Services & Distribution, Training and other leaders to support utilization and market opportunity
- Identify potential sites of care for new patients (plus)

Requirements/Qualifications:
- BS/BA in life sciences, finance/accounting or related field + 12+ years medical life science industry experience
- 15+ years biotech/pharmaceutical industry experience
- Required: lead field reimbursement teams
- Highly preferred: high-cost rare disease/gene therapy management experience
- Proven recent launch experience (last 3 years)
- Success leading high-performing teams
- Strong commercialization/launch experience (cell & gene therapy or high-cost buy and bill/medical benefit)
- Experience with surgically administered therapeutics (plus)
- Strong relationship-building, communication, commercialization, reimbursement/access understanding (US pricing, formulary, access pathways)
- Knowledge of legal/regulatory frameworks for promotion and field reimbursement norms
- Strong analytical/problem-solving skills
- Travel ~50%
