Responsibilities:
- Define and communicate the long-term vision for field enablement and customer engagement strategy across business units.
- Develop a holistic strategy for how field-facing colleagues engage HCPs, institutions, and payers, supported by tools, training, CRM, analytics, and processes.
- Build and execute a prioritized multi-year (1–3 year) roadmap for capabilities, tools, engagement models, and metrics.
- Lead field enablement initiatives for customer-facing colleagues to deliver differentiated engagements.
- Partner with training teams to design role-specific programs, ensure adoption of tools/workflows, and maintain launch readiness.
- Set and monitor success metrics and performance criteria for field enablement programs.
- Provide strategic leadership for cross-portfolio Field Force Effectiveness colleagues to create enterprise-wide field excellence without formal direct management authority.
- Establish operating rhythms, performance standards, and cross-BU coordination mechanisms.
- Develop and share adaptable frameworks/toolkits/playbooks for Field Excellence Leads.
- Codify cross-functional and cross-BU ways of working; design cross-functional engagement solutions across Sales, Medical Affairs, Market Access, and Account Management.
- Support voice of the customer and translate stakeholder needs into consistent, high-quality engagements.
- Lead CRM implementation/integration (pre-call planning, next-best-action, productivity).
- Oversee enablement for AI-driven solutions delivering insights in real time.
- Govern technology/analytics investment priorities; represent field excellence in senior governance forums.

Qualifications (Required/Preferred):
- 14+ years in pharma/biotech with leadership in commercial operations/field excellence/field enablement.
- Hands-on experience with field enablement frameworks (NBA, CRM optimization, AI insight tools).
- Proven track record leading large-scale commercial transformations (org/operating model redesign; 500+ field personnel capability scale-ups).
- Success in complex matrix environments without full direct authority.
- Experience designing behavior change/adoption programs for field workflows.
- Preferred: field deployment, incentive design, FFE, field analytics, virtual engagement models.
- Strong differentiator: account management frameworks, IDN/organized customer strategies, cross-functional engagement models.
- Preferred: experience supporting high-profile product launches.
- Valued: strategic advisor/internal consultant translating challenges into actionable roadmaps.

Compensation:
- Salary range (annually): $216,100.00 – $360,200.00
