Senior Director, Corporate Strategy or Executive Director, Corporate Strategy

Role Summary

BeOne is seeking a highly motivated and intellectually curious Senior Director/Executive Director of Corporate Strategy and Business Initiatives to be a strategic leader within the organization. The role involves identifying and developing innovative ideas to shape the future direction of the company, requiring a strong analytical mindset and a robust background in financial, scientific, and clinical areas. You will conduct in-depth research, due diligence, and deliver analyses informing high-stakes decisions, and communicate insights across the organization and with external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Identify transformative ideas and initiatives that could significantly impact corporate strategy and market positioning.
• Conduct comprehensive market research and competitive intelligence to assess potential new business opportunities.
• Lead development of complex financial models and scientific frameworks to evaluate viability of strategic initiatives.
• Perform in-depth clinical data analysis to assess potential outcomes and benefits of proposed initiatives.
• Establish and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders (executive leadership, research teams, business development) and engage external stakeholders to inform strategic recommendations.
• Synthesize large data sets to draw meaningful conclusions and actionable insights for executive decision-making.
• Prepare and present clear, concise presentations to senior leadership and board members articulating strategic options and recommendations.
• Collaborate with Investor Relations to create impactful materials for calls, conferences, and events; communicate value proposition and strategic initiatives to external stakeholders.
• Lead competitive analyses, benchmarking, and reporting on market dynamics across therapeutic areas to inform strategy.
• Drive cross-functional projects, fostering collaboration and execution of strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

• For both levels: Experience in strategy consulting, investment banking, sell/buy-side equity research, or corporate strategy in biotech/pharma; strong financial modeling and forecasting; ability to synthesize complex data into clear insights; excellent communication; proven leadership with senior executives and boards.
• For Senior Director: Bachelor’s in Science, Engineering, or Business with 12+ years of experience; or MA/MS/MBA with 8+ years; or MD/PharmD/PhD with 6+ years.
• For Executive Director: Bachelor’s in Science, Engineering, or Business with 14+ years; or MA/MS/MBA with 10+ years; or MD/PharmD/PhD with 8+ years.
• Required Education: BA/BS in Science, Engineering, or Business; MBA, MD, or PhD preferred.
