Core Responsibilities
- Own external communications strategy for all approved CMH products, including earned media, thought leadership, advocacy partnerships, and consumer campaigns.
- Lead consumer obesity communications; develop innovative integrated campaigns for diverse audiences.
- Develop and maintain brand narratives for Mounjaro, Zepbound, and Foundayo, ensuring consistency across channels and geographies.
- Support new indication launches and label expansions; own comms strategy from pre-approval (with Scientific Innovation) through post-launch.
- Lead global communications strategy for approved products; coordinate consistent messaging and execution across international affiliates.
- Partner with affiliates to provide materials, messaging frameworks, and strategic guidance.
- Coordinate with Scientific Innovation for global communications handoff into commercialization.
- Lead communications strategy/execution for priority medical meetings (ADA, EASD, ACC, AHA); develop press releases, backgrounders, data summaries, and HCP-facing content.
- Anticipate and lead on-market communications challenges (pricing/access, competitive dynamics, compounding, safety).
- Partner with Issues and Crisis Communications and Enterprise Communications; maintain A-list media relationships; serve as spokesperson and prepare internal spokespeople.
- Oversee on-market PR agency relationships.
- Collaborate across CMH/Global Corporate Communications; partner with marketing, medical affairs, regulatory, legal, and investor relations.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelorβs degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field.
- 8+ years in communications with consumer health, brand communications, and earned media.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. full-time; Lilly does not sponsor visas.
Additional Skills & Preferences
- Experience executing critical comms plans across traditional/digital/social.
- Knowledge of diabetes/obesity/metabolic diseases (strongly preferred).
- Global communications/affiliate coordination.
- Issues/crisis communications; PR agency management.
- Exceptional writing and storytelling.
Travel: ~20β30%

Compensation/Benefits (as stated)
- Anticipated wage: $154,500β$226,600; eligible for company bonus and comprehensive benefits (401(k), pension, vacation, medical/dental/vision/prescription, flexible benefits, life insurance, certain leave/time off, well-being benefits).
