Senior Director, Business Operations Lead (Global Regulatory Affairs - GRA). Boston hybrid (3 days/week onsite).
Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic direction and operational oversight for GRA across project management, process excellence, resource management, and vendor management.
- Allocate GRA resources to high-priority projects; maintain portfolio visibility; ensure disciplined execution and transparent planning.
- Lead operational process development/continuous improvement using Operational Excellence (e.g., Lean, DMAIC, root cause analysis).
- Accountable for GRA budget, financial tracking, and headcount planning; develop annual budgets/resource forecasts; monitor performance.
- Provide strategic recommendations on resource allocation, staffing models, and financial trends; ensure workforce planning with Finance/HR.
- Oversee vendor qualification/oversight/performance; establish governance frameworks, KPIs, and performance monitoring.
- Manage 5 direct reports; coach and performance-manage; serve as trusted operational advisor; represent GRA with senior stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelorβs degree in scientific/technical/business/allied health (or equivalent).
- Typically 12 years relevant experience, including 5 years management experience; business operations/project management/financial planning/regulatory operations preferred.
