Position Summary
- Strategic, digitally fluent marketer and commercial leader to shape obexelimab brand strategy and lead its go-to-market experience for the first anticipated launch in IgG4-Related Disease; build scalable solutions for future launches.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead obexelimab go-to-market engagement strategy and brand experience activation across marketing, field, digital, and patient services.
- Design customer engagement model and journey architecture from pre-launch through commercialization.
- Co-develop and own brand positioning expression across channels and touchpoints.
- Align field, marketing, and patient-services engagement into one orchestrated plan.
- Contribute to launch leadership team; inform forecasting and planning using engagement/channel/journey data.
- Partner with brand, market access, and field to reinforce brand, access, and engagement.
- Turn commercial strategy into brand-experience and GTM plans; translate into integrated digital/content activation.
- Lead digital/content execution (website, CRM journeys, modular content, congress digital extensions, social amplification, disease education).
- Build performance measurement frameworks; ensure compliant, consistent brand messaging.
- Lead disease awareness communications strategy in IgG4-RD (unbranded digital, patient web properties, disease education, community presence).
- Develop compliant patient/caregiver communications with Medical Affairs and Legal/Regulatory; create plain-language, human-centered content.
- Use analytics to optimize channel mix/message performance; operationalize responsible AI, automation, modular content; establish repeatable data-driven engagement operating model.
- Serve as connector across internal functions and agency partners; lead agencies/vendors; own marketing budget; establish KPIs/dashboards; develop talent/capabilities.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelorβs degree in marketing/communications/life sciences/business or related; advanced degree preferred.
- 8+ years pharma/biotech/healthcare agency experience focused on brand marketing, digital engagement, and/or brand communications.
- Experience executing integrated multi-channel marketing strategies (digital, CRM, social, search, web, content, analytics).
- Experience leading brand strategy/execution for paid/owned/earned media, content strategy, and external communications in pharma/specialty healthcare.
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical launch planning, MLR review processes, and compliant external engagement.
- Ability to translate complex clinical/scientific/disease-state information into audience-appropriate content.
- Proven ability to lead agencies and cross-functional partners.
- Excellent written/verbal communication and editorial judgment.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities; travel up to ~20%.
Preferred
- Experience in immunology, inflammation, rare disease, and/or specialty pharma.
- Expertise in digital marketing/brand communications/content strategy for specialty pharma launches.
- Experience supporting patient/caregiver education, disease awareness, DTC/DTP, advocacy, or patient support communications.
- Modular content strategy; Veeva Vault PromoMats (or equivalent).
- Experience with AI-informed insights, experimentation, or digital optimization.
- Prior experience in commercial-stage biotech/specialty pharma or integrated healthcare agency.
