Senior Director, Access & Reimbursement Managers β Mid-West
Position Responsibilities
- Oversee a regional team of Access and Reimbursement Managers (ARMs); align with organizational goals.
- Coach and develop ARMs; foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Develop and execute strategies to optimize access and reimbursement for a specialty product across endocrinology practices.
- Monitor regional/national trends; proactively address access/reimbursement barriers.
- Implement innovative, market-relevant solutions; partner cross-functionally (Trade, Market Access, Thought Leader Liaisons, Sales, Analytics).
- Serve as an escalation point for patient access/reimbursement issues; resolve challenges with ARMs and stakeholders.
- Build relationships with endocrinology offices and deliver tailored solutions.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations; track/report performance metrics.
- Oversee development of tools/resources for ARMs.
Qualifications & Skills Required
- Bachelorβs degree required; MBA/MHA or related advanced degree preferred.
- 10+ yearsβ experience in access/reimbursement or patient support roles in pharma/healthcare.
- Proven experience leading and coaching high-performing teams.
- Strong knowledge of pharmacy benefit structures, specialty products, and endocrinology practices (preferred).
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Willingness to travel 50β70%.
