Senior Corporate Counsel, US Vaccines

Main Responsibilities:
- Serve as a legal team member supporting the Vaccines business unit; coordinate legal assistance across commercial matters and collaborate with other practice areas/functions.
- Act as legal lead for marketed and investigational products within the Vaccines portfolio; advise internal groups including commercial, sales, and medical affairs.
- Manage review and negotiation of certain contracts and amendments relating to the Vaccines business unit.
- Manage multiple subject matter issues across diverse areas; identify and coordinate with appropriate subject matter experts.
- Work with cross-functional stakeholders to support adherence to company values/priorities; understand legislative developments impacting the business; manage internal and external resources.
- Operate with limited supervision; independently establish priorities and exercise balanced judgment; identify legal issues (especially promotional matters, regulatory issues, and fraud and abuse) and propose risk-mitigating solutions.
- Know when to escalate issues internally and with outside counsel.

Qualifications:
- 7+ years of legal experience.
- BA/BS and Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
- Valid license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
- Proficiency with Word, PowerPoint, and other corporate standard software (required).
- Preferred: Experience with a pharma/biotech company, FDA or other relevant governmental agency, or law firm experience on life sciences-related matters.
