Main Responsibilities
- Serve as proactive thought partner to M&S stakeholders in each of Sanofi’s GBUs.
- Drive legal strategy, drafting, and negotiation for complex biopharmaceutical manufacturing transactions worldwide (direct materials, drug substance, active pharmaceutical ingredient, drug product, finished goods).
- Lead advanced dispute resolution measures to transform conflicts into business opportunities.
- Collaborate with M&S Global Functions on transformation of the M&S industrial network (capacity, investment, strategic sourcing, smart spending, external partner collaborations, optimized risk management).
- Provide expert legal advice to Business Development, Alliance, and other Legal workstreams on M&A and licensing activity involving M&S-related issues/transactions.
- Drive optimized ways of working across Legal, M&S, Global Procurement, and Business Operations, emphasizing standardization and simplification.
- Champion digital adoption and adaptation to maximize efficiency and allocate resources to impactful work.

Qualifications
- J.D. or LL.M. from an accredited law school; admitted to practice law in a U.S. jurisdiction.
- 10+ years of legal experience supporting complex biopharmaceutical manufacturing transactions; at least 5 years’ in-house experience in a multinational biopharmaceutical company preferred.
- Detailed knowledge of GxP, CMC Regulatory, Standard Cost Accounting, and multinational biopharmaceutical manufacturing operations.
- Demonstrated business acumen; strong negotiation skills.
- Ability to partner effectively with technical and business stakeholders globally; strong business-partner focus.
- Strategic, entrepreneurial problem-solver; strong judgment and commitment to ethical conduct.
- Excellent communication skills (succinct oral and written).
- Ability to prioritize competing projects, meet timelines, and deliver across highly matrixed workstreams.
- Willingness to travel internationally as needed.
