Role Summary

Senior Business Analyst responsible for collaborating with stakeholders to gather reporting requirements, designing and maintaining HR reports and analytics in Workday, managing Workday-related projects, and providing end-user training and support. Lead Workday projects to align system enhancements with business and regulatory needs, with up to 100% remote work available.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and translate them into technical specifications and data models within Workday
  • Design and maintain HR reports, dashboards, and analytics using Workday reporting tools (e.g., Report Writer, Calculated Fields, Discovery Boards, Worksheets)
  • Manage various projects regarding new business acquisitions and the impact to Workday, and projects related to legacy HR systems/data
  • Analyze HR data to provide meaningful insights to key stakeholders, enabling data-driven decision-making
  • Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and Workday updates to enhance reporting capabilities and optimize system functionality
  • Provide end-user support and training to HR and other stakeholders on how to effectively use Workday reporting tools and resources
  • Collaborate with HR Technology to identify process improvement opportunities, automate manual tasks, and improve data workflows
  • Assist with HRIS implementation projects, including system upgrades, mass data loads, and integrations with third-party applications
  • Lead Workday projects, aligning system enhancements with business and regulatory needs while ensuring seamless execution and minimal disruption

Qualifications

  • Required: Master’s degree in Engineering Management, Business Administration or related field
  • Required: 2 years of related experience
  • Required: Develop and maintain Workday reports and dashboards using Workday Report Writer, Calculated Fields, and Workday Prism
  • Required: Document business requirements, workflows, and functional specifications
  • Required: Identify process improvement opportunities and implement best practices using Workday functionalities
  • Required: Conduct gap analysis between business requirements and Workday capabilities
  • Required: Configure and maintain Workday modules such as HCM, Payroll, Compensation, Benefits, Talent Management, and Recruiting
  • Required: Analyze business requirements and translate them into Workday system configurations
  • Required: Conduct system testing (unit, integration, UAT) and troubleshoot Workday-related issues
  • Required: Ensure security roles and permissions are configured and maintained; conduct periodic security audits
