Senior Analyst, Finance

Purpose:
- Support the newly formed Packaging Region in Internal Manufacturing (AP16), including consolidating financials and standardizing processes across the region; provide financial support to the Packaging Region Controller/Director and stakeholders; gain direct cost accounting and business support experience with the Site Controller and Assistant Controller.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and develop drafts of annual Plan, LRP, and LBEs.
- Ensure complete, accurate, timely monthly actual results, including variance analysis and commentary; communicate issues vs. benchmark to Region Management.
- Support Plan and Update processes, including Flash/LBE preparation; review variances and provide mid-month analysis of actuals/trends vs. LBE.
- Assist Operations with identifying cost reduction areas and operational improvements; support annual budget process, periodic forecasting, and operational performance analysis.
- Prepare, coordinate, and develop standards for assigned cost rolls; ensure timely communication of information.
- Prepare/analyze journal entries and account reconciliations during month-end close to maintain internal controls.
- Provide ad hoc analysis to support complex decision-making.
- Lead Region reviews; analyze growth/performance and variances of actuals vs. benchmark.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required; degree in finance or accounting preferred.
- Preferred 4+ years of progressive related experience in Finance and/or Accounting.
- Execute manager-established priorities with speed and agility.
- Strong financial, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient Excel skills required.
- Knowledge of SAP and BPC is a plus.
