Advanced Lung Disease (ALD) Specialist (remote; Ann Arbor/Detroit territory)
Responsibilities:
- Promote UT products (primary focus: Tyvaso) to the PH-ILD and IPF community in assigned territory/accounts per corporate guidance
- Build/maintain relationships with MDs, NPs, PAs, RNs, and distributor staff; deliver product messaging and education
- Analyze sales reports, develop business plans, and achieve/exceed sales targets in key accounts
- Coordinate with other field team members to optimize selling/education/support
- Maintain expert knowledge of disease state, product, and competitive landscape; use sales force automation
- Complete UT administrative requirements (expenses, call reporting) and adhere to corporate/external regulatory guidelines
- Attend medical symposia/conferences and patient support group meetings as directed; participate in sales/marketing project teams
Territory: Ann Arbor, MI; Detroit, MI suburbs
Minimum Requirements (ALD Specialist):
- Bachelorβs degree (prefer nursing/life science) or equivalent
- 6+ years selling pharma/similar products to specialty HCPs OR 6+ years healthcare/nursing experience with advanced lung disease
- 2+ years Cardiovascular and/or Pulmonary Disease therapeutics; expertise in the therapeutic area
- Strong leader with proven selling record; outstanding communication; decision-making/planning/interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of UT products/services; valid Driverβs License (good standing)
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2+ years specialty pharma/biotech sales; 2+ years PH-ILD and/or IPF sales; 2+ years institutional/major teaching center sales
Travel/Location:
- 75β80% travel; candidates must be able to travel by car and/or airplane
Benefits/Compensation:
- Salary (base): $130,000β$160,000 (ALD Specialist)
