The Senior Account Specialist is responsible for driving sales and increasing revenue by:
- Building and developing a sales strategy for the assigned territory and customer base.
- Territory penetration, effective call planning, time management, and accurate forecasting.
- Driving utilization through product demonstrations and customer training/education (indications, contraindications, and safety).
- Executing launch installation action plans and leveraging reward programs and enrollment tools to drive consumable usage.
- Coordinating user meetings/intro workshops; supporting tradeshows and workshops.
- Developing and maintaining key relationships; identifying new customers and building existing customer base; creating business evaluations/reviews.
- Becoming a Subject Matter Expert on the industry and competitive products.
- Ensuring high collaboration and consistent communication with surgical/non-surgical specialists, marketing, and clinical counterparts.
- Generating leads and cross-selling opportunities for Capital Equipment Specialists.
- Preparing sales contracts (terms, quotes, pricing).
- Completing administrative tasks (quarterly business plans, account profiles/database, expense reports).
- Building customer loyalty through superior customer service and communication.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma required; Bachelorโs degree preferred.
- Minimum 2 years B2B/business-to-business sales experience required.
- Experience selling consumables/medical products to plastic surgeons or dermatologists in a highly controlled, FDA-regulated environment.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, surgical techniques, and procedures.
Required skills/requirements:
- Strong selling skills: product attribute communication, influence/close.
- Excellent planning/organizational skills; agile time management and priority setting.
- Strong written and oral communication; ability to present clinical/technical information to healthcare providers and large groups.
- Ability to connect with all levels of employees.
- Valid driverโs license with a clean driving record.
- Travel ~75% (including occasional overnights/weekends).
- Ability to transport up to 60 pounds of equipment.
- Technical acumen to use software and basic hardware.
Compensation/Benefits:
- Starting base pay range: $90Kโ$120K (plus eligibility for annual bonus program or sales incentive plan).
