Senior Account Specialist (Territory: Upstate NY/Connecticut and surrounding areas)
Responsibilities:
- Build and develop a sales strategy for assigned territory and customer base.
- Drive territory penetration, effective call planning, time management, and accurate forecasting.
- Increase utilization via product demonstrations, and customer training/education (indications, contradictions, safety).
- Execute launch installation action plans; leverage reward programs and enrollment tools to drive consumable usage.
- Coordinate and achieve high attendance at user meetings and intro workshops; support/facilitate tradeshows and workshops.
- Develop and maintain key relationships; identify new customers and grow existing accounts; conduct business evaluations/reviews.
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert on the industry and competitive products.
- Collaborate consistently with surgical and non-surgical specialists, marketing, and clinical counterparts.
- Generate leads and cross-selling opportunities for Capital Equipment Specialists.
- Prepare sales contracts (terms, quotes, pricing).
- Administrative tasks: quarterly business plans, maintain account profiles/customer database, expense reports.
- Build customer loyalty through superior service, communication, and maximized customer contact.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma (Bachelorโs preferred).
- 2+ years B2B sales experience.
- Experience selling consumables/medical products to plastic surgeons or dermatologists in an FDA-regulated environment.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, surgical techniques, and procedures.
Required skills/other requirements:
- Strong selling skills; ability to influence and close.
- Planning/organizational skills; agile time management and priority-setting.
- Excellent written and oral communication; present clinical/technical information to providers and groups.
- Ability to connect with all levels of employees.
- Valid driverโs license (clean record); travel ~75%; transport up to 60 lbs; technical acumen (software and basic hardware).
Compensation/Benefits (if applicable):
- Base pay: $90Kโ$120K; eligible for annual bonus or sales incentive plan.
