Senior Account Specialist (Upstate NY/Connecticut and surrounding areas)
Responsibilities:
- Build and develop a sales strategy for assigned territory and customer base.
- Drive territory penetration with effective call planning, time management, and accurate forecasting.
- Increase utilization through product demonstrations, customer training, and education on indications, contradictions, and safety.
- Execute launch installation action plans; leverage reward programs and enrollment tools to drive consumable usage.
- Coordinate and achieve high attendance at user meetings and intro workshops; support tradeshows and workshops.
- Develop and maintain key relationships; identify new customers and grow existing accounts; conduct business evaluations/reviews.
- Become a subject matter expert in the industry and competitive products.
- Collaborate with surgical/non-surgical specialists, marketing, and clinical counterparts; maintain consistent communication.
- Generate leads and cross-selling opportunities for Capital Equipment Specialists.
- Prepare sales contracts, including terms, quotes, and pricing.
- Complete administrative tasks (quarterly business plans, maintaining account profiles/customer database, expense reports).
- Build customer loyalty via superior service, communication, and maximizing customer contact.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma required; Bachelorโs degree preferred.
- 2+ years B2B sales required.
- Experience selling consumables/medical products to plastic surgeons or dermatologists in a FDA-regulated environment.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, surgical techniques, and procedures.
Required/Preferred Skills & Other Requirements:
- Strong selling skills: product attribute communication, influence/close, planning/organizational skills, agile prioritization.
- Strong written and oral communication; ability to present clinical/technical info to providers and groups.
- Valid driverโs license; clean driving record.
- Travel ~75%; occasional weekends; transport up to 60 lbs.
- Technical acumen to use software and hardware.
Compensation & Benefits (as stated):
- Starting base pay: $90Kโ$120K; eligible for annual bonus program or sales incentive plan.
