The Senior Account Specialist (Upstate NY/Connecticut and surrounding areas) drives sales and increases revenue by:
- Building and executing a sales strategy for assigned territory/customer base.
- Conducting territory penetration, call planning, time management, and accurate forecasting.
- Driving product utilization via demonstrations and customer training/education on indications, contraindications, and safety.
- Executing launch/install action plans; using reward programs/enrollment tools to increase consumable usage.
- Coordinating user meetings/intro workshops; supporting tradeshows/workshops.
- Developing and maintaining key customer relationships; identifying new customers and strengthening existing accounts; completing business evaluations/reviews.
- Acting as a Subject Matter Expert on the industry and competitive products.
- Collaborating and communicating with surgical/non-surgical specialists, marketing, and clinical teams.
- Generating leads and cross-selling opportunities for Capital Equipment Specialists.
- Preparing sales contracts (terms, quotes, pricing).
- Completing administrative tasks (quarterly business plans, account profiles/customer database, expense reports).
- Building customer loyalty through superior service and communication.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma minimum; Bachelorโs degree preferred.
- 2+ years B2B sales experience required.
- Experience selling consumables/medical products to plastic surgeons or dermatologists in an FDA-regulated, highly controlled environment.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and surgical techniques/procedures.
Skills/Requirements:
- Strong selling, planning/organization, influence/closing, and time-management.
- Excellent written/oral communication; ability to present clinical/technical info to providers and groups.
- Ability to connect with all employee levels.
- Valid driverโs license; travel ~75% (including occasional overnights/weekends).
- Ability to transport up to 60 lbs; technical acumen with software and basic hardware.
- Maintain compliance with applicable FDA/corporate guidelines; support GCP and GDP.
Compensation/Benefits (as stated):
- Starting base pay range: $90Kโ$120K; eligible for annual bonus or sales incentive.
