The Senior Manager/Director, Sales Training will lead the strategy, development, delivery, and ongoing optimization of sales and leadership training for the U.S. launch and commercialization of ANAPHYLM.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and/or participate in design, development, and implementation of a training curriculum for the launch of ANAPHYLM
- Develop and maintain product/brand-related sales training resources, workshops, and presentations
- Design and develop training content independently and with vendors
- Facilitate virtual and live training for sales leaders and specialty sales representatives
- Develop and facilitate โTrain the Trainerโ sessions; lead development for associated events
- Manage initial sales training: content development, agenda/stakeholder management, home study training, and live classroom delivery
- Build and maintain external strategic partnerships (e.g., thought leaders, vendors, professional affiliations)
- Own and iterate training strategy and tactical plan
- Establish metrics to evaluate training effectiveness, knowledge retention, certification performance, and launch readiness
- Monitor/report training progress, readiness indicators, risks, and developmental opportunities
- Collect field feedback and assessment data to continuously improve programs
- Use performance consulting to identify root causes of performance gaps and recommend interventions
- Evaluate learning outcomes to ensure training investments support commercial objectives
- Expected travel: 50%
- On-site in Warren, NJ at least 3 days/week
Qualifications:
- Bachelorโs degree
- 7+ years pharma/biotech/life sciences commercial experience
- 4+ years sales training, commercial learning & development, sales leadership, or related experience
- Demonstrated experience designing/developing/facilitating pharmaceutical sales training
- Experience leading cross-functional initiatives in a matrixed organization
- Strong presentation, facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to translate complex scientific/commercial concepts into engaging learning
- Strong project management and planning skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, SharePoint, AI, and business applications
- Ability to travel ~50% (overnight and occasional weekends)
- Allergy/respiratory/immunology experience preferred
