Role Summary

Sales Representative - Richmond, VA (ENDO) responsible for implementing marketing and sales strategies, delivering product presentations to healthcare providers, and maintaining territory coverage. Travel up to 50% may be required.

Responsibilities

  • Meet and exceed product sales goals within the assigned territory through strategic planning and execution.
  • Manage sample distribution and record transactions in accordance with policy and PDMA guidelines.
  • Create and deliver comprehensive sales presentations using approved materials to communicate product value propositions to current and potential customers with defined call frequency.
  • Develop a daily call schedule to ensure territory coverage and maintain accurate territory information.
  • Demonstrate expertise in disease states and indications relevant to the promoted products; perform pre- and post-call analyses; review sales data to maximize impact.
  • Enter calls into the CRM system promptly and handle administrative reporting requirements.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelors Degree (BA/BS) in Business, Life Sciences, Marketing or relevant field – Required
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year outside sales experience (life sciences preferred); minimum 3 years life sciences industry experience, with specialty pharmaceutical experience strongly preferred
  • Skills: Excellent communication and presentation; strong disease state knowledge; proven sales success in pharmaceutical or medical device sales; ability to build professional relationships; self-motivated with strong organizational and time management skills; combination of medical knowledge, sales expertise, and patient focus
  • Licenses: US Driver's license required upon hire
