The position (Sales Representative 2) โ Calgary and Southern Alberta
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and update a territory business plan to drive sales results with targeted healthcare providers
- Analyse sales data to identify opportunities and incorporate insights into strategy
- Customise sales calls for healthcare professionals (Endocrinologists, Primary Care Physicians, Diabetes Nurse Educators, Pharmacists)
- Organise and conduct product education sessions within budgetary guidelines
- Liaise with community hospitals and pharmacists to ensure optimal product usage
- Attend conferences, symposiums, and seminars to promote products and stay updated on market trends
- Demonstrate leadership at national sales meetings, district meetings, and training programmes
- Manage territory budgets for Continuing Health Education (CHE) and product samples
- Provide mentorship to new hires; share best practices and lead regional initiatives
- Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships
- Collaborate with the immediate sales team and work cross-functionally with internal stakeholders
- Bring energy and a strong work ethic to a fast-paced, field-based role
Qualifications:
- Bachelorโs degree or diploma in Business, Marketing, Communications, Science, or related field
- 5 years of sales experience preferred (pharmaceutical sales not required); consumer/commercial/marketing-related sales considered
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills
- Collaborative; able to work with cross-functional stakeholders
- High energy; able to succeed in a fast-paced, field-based role
- Time and priority management; willing to learn/accept feedback
- Experience with CRM tools/sales tracking systems; exposure to B2B sales environments
- Legally authorized to work in Canada
What We Offer:
- Annual base salary range: $85,000โ$135,000
- May include STI and/or LTI incentives; benefits eligibility varies by job/location
