Role Summary

Sales Manager position overseeing regional sales within Phibro-Tech’s Environmental Recovery Services (ERS) and California Water Technologies (CWT) businesses. Responsible to profitably grow the ERS business and maximize profitability of the CWT business by optimizing product mix and driving demand through consultative and technical selling.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the sales efforts within the assigned territory
  • Prospect for and develop new customers
  • Support and retain current customers
  • Seek opportunities to grow and expand current customer business with existing products or by adding additional products
  • Utilize Phibro resources to develop knowledge of product portfolio
  • Understand the scientific principles behind each product and their application
  • Position features and benefits to meet customer needs, increase sales and Phibro results
  • Manage time and resources to grow sales within the assigned budget
  • Understand and communicate the science and benefits of Phibro products to different customer segments
  • Communicate benefits of Phibro products against competitors
  • Achieve budgeted sales and gross margin for Phibro products in the assigned geography
  • Participate in development of regional sales strategy and plans
  • Provide input on competitor activities, pricing, differentiated services, and industry trends
  • Proactive use of Phibro’s CRM system; manage and maintain customer and influencer database

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree
  • Experience: 5 years of industry experience in sales roles
  • CRM experience or willingness to learn
  • Strong negotiation skills and project management experience
  • Extensive client interaction experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; proficient using email, phones, and office equipment
  • Able to travel as necessary
  • Business acumen, energy and drive, positive attitude, client-focused, flexible and empathetic

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree

Additional Requirements

  • Local travel to customers and facility approximately 50% of the time; overnight travel may be required monthly
  • Can work from a home office
