Territory Representative (Field Sales)
Key Responsibilities (may include):
- Communicate product value meaningfully to each customer; tailor discussions to customer needs.
- Serve as primary point of contact for assigned customers; meet with decision makers to understand practice structure, influencers, needs, and identify opportunities.
- Develop customer and territory/account strategies to grow sales of Animal Health products/services.
- Build and execute territory and account plans; partner with Technical Services, ID/Infrastructure, Monitoring, National Account Managers, and Distribution Field Partners.
- Collaborate across species teams; share regional learnings to drive growth.
- Analyze monthly sales results and manage expenses within budget guidelines.
- Identify programs/services to address customer needs and provide education/training.
- Work with leadership and Field Technical Services to develop/deliver relevant offerings.
- Stay current on products, trends, competition, and key influencers; communicate trends across the organization.
- Meet learning and development objectives with leadership.
Education:
- High school diploma required; Bachelorβs degree preferred.
Required Experience/Skills:
- Familiarity with Beef and Dairy industry.
- Excellent interpersonal/communication/presentation skills; adaptability.
- Proficient with Word, Excel, PowerPoint; ability to use iPad.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Travel overnight; some weekend activity.
Preferred Experience/Skills:
- Animal Health sales and account management experience.
- Beef and/or Dairy management, animal health/monitoring experience.
- Business development/planning; knowledge of animal health protocols and biological/pharmaceutical products.
- Experience with animal health resellers; existing territory relationships.
- Spanish fluency preferred.
Compensation & Benefits (if applicable):
- Salary range: $79,200.00β$124,700.00; annual bonus and long-term incentive (if applicable).
