Responsibilities:
- Engage Rheumatology customers in assigned territory; deliver clinically focused messages to introduce, grow brand share and revenue, and meet product goals.
- Execute Rheumatology therapeutic area strategies/tactics to generate product utilization.
- Build relationships with Rheumatology experts and other key healthcare personnel and patient advocacy groups in geography.
- Coordinate with Rheumatology cross-functional teams (including Thought Leader Liaisons) to ensure account success.
- Present clinical information to HCPs (e.g., academic centers, hospitals, large group practices) in a compliant, ethical manner.
- Apply deep marketplace/therapeutic/product/disease expertise (including mechanism of action, indications, efficacy, safety) and provide market insights/field feedback to home office.
- Coordinate with field and home office teams to address customer needs and market trends.
- Participate in/lead sales success initiatives (e.g., congresses, local/regional meetings).
- Provide site-level in-service training (in-person and digital) as needed.
- Plan/sponsor local promotional speaker programs and activities.
- Execute short- and long-term strategic plans; maximize assigned territory budget.
- Identify opportunities and develop plans to grow territory business; drive results with large group practices and IDNs.
- Establish relationships with key leaders; drive industry-leading customer value.
- Lead cross-functional teams implementing Sanofi programs and brand strategies; allocate resources.
- Train and promote Kevzara for PMR and RA.
Experience/Skill Requirements:
- 2+ years successful pharmaceutical/biotech sales.
- 2+ years Rheumatology sales (preferred).
- Track record in physician/customer-facing and strategic roles.
- Experience with pull-through and total office call.
- Launch experience (preferred); specialty biologic sales; injection or infusion (preferred).
- Ability to thrive in ambiguity; effective communication and change agility.
- Strong business acumen and project management.
- Travel up to 75%.
