Key Responsibilities:
- Build institutional advocacy for formulary adoption of rheumatology brands to drive appropriate utilization of approved products.
- Create, organize, and execute strategic business plans for key priority hospitals within designated rheumatology academic and government institutions.
- Collaborate with local partners to develop and sustain tailored business plans based on local market dynamics.
- Demonstrate strong understanding of disease area, market dynamics, competitors, and industry trends to navigate opportunities and challenges.
- Conduct sales activities: present products/disease states, share approved clinical data with physicians and teams, and build relationships with clinicians, administrative staff, and decision-makers.
- Facilitate cross-functional Area Team Meetings (ATMs) to develop and revise strategies to meet product access and sales targets.
- Evaluate customer needs and provide tailored insights to field and HQ teams; implement strategies to seize opportunities.
- Identify business opportunities and diagnose implementation challenges in designated hospitals and adjacent markets.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 5+ years experience in pharmaceutical/biotech/healthcare or similar with large, geographically dispersed sales teams; 2+ years in hospital sales/similar managing sophisticated accounts (including large academic centers) within past 5 years.
- Strong therapeutic area/product knowledge; proven record of accomplishment.
- Robust business background with strong cross-functional collaboration in matrix environments.
- Reside within territory or within 100 miles of territory border; travel 60–80%; valid driver’s license.

Desirable:
- Experience across therapeutic groups, disease states, account management strategy, and new product launches.
- Knowledge of patient services, market access, buy & bill, specialty pharmacy, reimbursement; medical calling on HCPs.
