Role Summary

Regional Security Manager US Ops position has responsibility for the development, implementation and management of security policies, standards, evaluations, roles and corporate awareness. The scope includes security technologies and services, personal protection, perimeter defenses, supply chain security, investigations, compliance issues, physical and logical access control, and profile management for all employees, contractors and visitors. Provides security support for all US operations, offices and facilities to ensure regional and global alignment of security efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Security Director’s efforts to develop an effective strategy to assess and mitigate risk, manage crises and incidents, maintain continuity of operations and safeguard employees and the organization
  • Identify, develop, implement and maintain security processes, practices and policies to reduce risks and respond to incidents across information, financial, physical, personal and reputational risk
  • Oversee incident response planning and investigation of security breaches
  • Support supply chain security investigations and planning
  • Lead guard force contract management including KPI enforcement
  • Conduct risk assessments of offices, manufacturing and R&D sites
  • Research and assist in deploying technology solutions and innovative security management techniques; establish standards and risk controls
  • Develop and sustain relationships with law enforcement, intelligence, governmental, and private sector counterparts
  • Coordinate and implement site security operations to protect executives, employees, customers, stakeholders, visitors, and assets; optimize use of personnel and equipment
  • Brief Director of Security and Site Leadership on security status and threats
  • Assist sites with security budgeting and planning for security capital expenditures
  • Participate in crisis management, business continuity planning and training; lead crisis response as needed
  • Demonstrate leadership, strategic thinking, and effective communication across the organization

Qualifications

  • Business level fluency in English (Read, Write & Speak)
  • 4-year degree or international equivalent; advanced degree in a relevant area highly desirable
  • Continuing education programs or certifications a plus (CPP, CFE, etc)
  • 7+ years of combined experience in security management and related fields; 3+ years of mid-level management within a corporate security organization of comparable size
  • Experience managing capital and expense budgets for complex, geographically dispersed security operations
  • Working knowledge of security systems, CCTV and access control systems

Additional Requirements
