Responsibilities:
- Meet and exceed corporate sales objectives for the Region within assigned geographies.
- Plan, direct, implement, and oversee Territory Manager policies and activities.
- Recruit, retain, and develop high-performing Territory Managers.
- Assess regional development needs; provide individualized development and coaching.
- Drive regional performance while adhering to compliance and regulatory standards.
- Provide consistent, proactive, individualized coaching; counsel the sales team to overcome performance deficiencies.
- Demonstrate leadership and culture norms; foster a people-first, high-performing culture (collaboration, inclusiveness, accountability).
- Manage and allocate regional resources; ensure execution and pull-through based on growth opportunities.
- Ensure Sales & Marketing plans are implemented effectively and aligned to corporate goals.
- Partner with Sales Leadership and HR to address performance gaps.
- Review regional data/dashboards to identify business opportunities and additional business.
- Build relationships in the Eye Care community; serve as an ambassador and conduit to key customers and senior leadership.
- Understand the Eye Care marketplace and stay current on regional developments.
- Comply with legal, regulatory, and compliance policies; maintain integrity and professionalism.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) + 6–8 years of pharmaceutical/medical/related sales experience with technical knowledge, selling techniques, and medical terminology; Eye Care experience strongly preferred; 2–3+ years management experience preferred (equivalent experience/education considered).
- Live within the geography of responsibility or within reasonable driving distance.
- Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record.
- Ability to travel (overnights, evenings, weekends as needed); extensive overnight travel expected.
- Preferred: success coaching/developing top talent; ability to assess talent for strong teams.
- Leadership skills supporting growth, accountability, achievement.
- Demonstrated ability to drive results and execution; set challenging objectives.
- Ability to support the regulatory environment.
- Strong business acumen; leverage data to build business plans.
- Build collaborative relationships with internal/external stakeholders; problem-solver.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM, and similar databases.
- English communication skills (speaking, comprehension, reading, writing) required.

Compensation:
- Salary range: $124,000–$186,000 USD (exact compensation varies by skills, experience, and location).
