Responsibilities:
- Meet & exceed corporate sales objectives for the Region within assigned geographies.
- Plan, direct, implement, and oversee Territory Manager policies and activities for the geographical region.
- Recruit, retain, and develop high-performing Territory Managers.
- Assess regional developmental needs and provide individualized development and coaching.
- Drive regional performance while adhering to compliance and regulatory standards.
- Provide consistent, proactive, individualized coaching to Territory Managers; counsel the sales team to overcome performance deficiencies.
- Demonstrate company culture norms through leadership and collaboration.
- Foster a people-first, high-performing culture focused on collaboration, inclusiveness, and accountability.
- Manage and allocate regional resources; ensure execution and pull-through based on potential and growth opportunities.
- Ensure Sales & Marketing plans are implemented effectively and consistent with corporate goals.
- Partner with Sales Leadership and HR to address performance gaps.
- Review regional data and dashboards to identify opportunities and additional business.
- Build relationships with the Eye Care community; serve as an ambassador/conduit to key customers and senior leadership.
- Stay current on Eye Care marketplace/business developments in the region.
- Comply with legal, regulatory, and compliance policies; maintain integrity and professionalism.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) and 6–8+ years of pharmaceutical/medical/related sales experience with technical knowledge, selling techniques, and medical terminology.
- Eye Care experience strongly preferred; 2–3+ years of management experience preferred (experience/education combination considered).
- Must live within the geography of responsibility (or within reasonable driving distance).
- Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record.
- Travel required (overnights, evenings, weekends as needed; extensive overnight travel expected).
- Preferred: demonstrated success coaching/developing top talent and assessing talent to build strong teams.
- Leadership skills aligned to personal growth & development, accountability, achievement, and organizational vision.
- Demonstrated results/execution; ability to set challenging objectives and raise performance standards.
- Ability to support regulatory environment and promote products compliantly.
- Strong business acumen; use data to build business plans and uncover opportunities.
- Ability to build collaborative relationships with internal/external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, applicable CRM, and similar databases.
- Proficiency in English (speaking, reading, writing, comprehension).

Compensation (as stated): Salary range $124,000–$186,000 USD; exact compensation may vary by skills, experience, and location.
