Regional Sales Manager, Eye Care – Northeast

Responsibilities:
- Meet & exceed corporate sales objectives for the Northeast region (NY, CT, MA, PA).
- Plan, direct, implement, and oversee Territory Manager policies and activities.
- Recruit, retain, and develop high-performing Territory Managers.
- Assess regional developmental needs; provide individualized development and coaching.
- Drive regional performance while adhering to compliance and regulatory standards.
- Provide consistent, proactive, individualized coaching; advise the sales team to address performance gaps.
- Demonstrate culture norms through leadership and collaboration; foster a people-first, high-performing culture (collaboration, inclusiveness, accountability).
- Manage and allocate regional resources; ensure execution and follow-through on growth opportunities.
- Ensure Sales & Marketing plan implementation aligns with corporate goals.
- Partner with Sales Leadership and HR to address performance gaps.
- Review region data/dashboards to identify business opportunities and methods to grow.
- Build relationships with the Eye Care community; act as organizational ambassador and conduit to key customers and senior leadership.
- Stay updated on Eye Care marketplace and regional business developments.
- Comply with legal/regulatory/compliance policies; maintain integrity and professionalism.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) + 6–8 years pharmaceutical/medical/related sales experience; strong technical knowledge and medical terminology; Eye Care experience strongly preferred; 2–3+ years management experience preferred (or equivalent combination).
- Live within the geography or reasonable driving distance.
- Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record.
- Extensive travel required (overnights; evenings/weekends as needed).

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, CRM, and databases.
- English proficiency (speaking/reading/writing).

Compensation:
- Salary range: $148,000–$222,000.
