Regional Sales Manager, Eye Care – Northeast

Responsibilities
- Meet and exceed corporate sales objectives for the Region within assigned geographies.
- Plan, direct, implement, and oversee Territory Manager policies and activities for the Northeast region (New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania).
- Recruit, retain, and develop high-performing Territory Managers.
- Assess regional developmental needs and provide individualized development and coaching.
- Drive regional performance while adhering to compliance and regulatory standards.
- Provide consistent, proactive, individualized coaching; counsel the sales team to overcome performance deficiencies.
- Demonstrate company culture norms through leadership and collaboration.
- Foster a people-first, high-performing culture focused on collaboration, inclusiveness, and accountability.
- Manage and allocate regional resources; ensure execution and pull-through based on growth opportunities.
- Ensure Sales & Marketing plan execution aligns with corporate goals and objectives.
- Work closely with Sales Leadership and HR to address performance gaps.
- Continually review regional data and dashboards to identify additional business opportunities.
- Establish and cultivate relationships with the Eye Care community; act as an ambassador and conduit to key customers and senior leadership.
- Understand the Eye Care marketplace and stay updated on regional business developments.
- Comply with legal, regulatory, and compliance policies; maintain integrity and professionalism.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) and 6–8 years of pharmaceutical, medical, or related sales experience with technical knowledge, selling techniques, and medical terminology; Eye Care experience strongly preferred; 2–3+ years of management experience preferred (or equivalent combination of education/experience).
- Live within the geography of responsibility or within reasonable driving distance.
- Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record.
- Ability to travel as required (including extensive overnight travel and possible evenings/weekends for conferences).
- Demonstrated success coaching and developing top talent; ability to assess talent to build strong teams.
- Leadership skills that support personal growth, accountability, and achievement.
- Demonstrated ability to drive results and execution; set challenging objectives.
- Support the regulatory environment and promote products compliantly.
- Strong business acumen; use data to build business plans.
- Ability to build and maintain collaborative relationships with internal/external stakeholders.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and applicable CRM/databases.
- Proficiency in English (speaking, comprehending, reading, writing).

Compensation
- Salary range: $148,000 - $222,000 (exact compensation may vary by skills, experience, and location).
