Regional Sales Manager, Eye Care – Northeast

Responsibilities:
- Meet/exceed corporate sales objectives for the Northeast region within assigned geographies.
- Plan, direct, implement, and provide full oversight of Territory Manager policies and activities.
- Recruit, retain, and develop high-performing Territory Managers.
- Assess regional developmental needs and provide individualized development and coaching.
- Drive regional performance while adhering to compliance and regulatory standards.
- Provide consistent, proactive, individualized coaching to Territory Managers; counsel sales team to address performance deficiencies.
- Demonstrate company culture norms through leadership and collaboration; foster a people-first, high-performing culture focused on collaboration, inclusiveness, and accountability.
- Manage and allocate regional resources; ensure execution and pull-through based on potential and growth opportunities.
- Ensure Sales & Marketing plan implementation aligns with corporate goals and objectives.
- Partner with Sales Leadership and HR to address performance gaps.
- Review regional data/dashboards to identify additional business opportunities.
- Build relationships with the Eye Care community; act as an Ambassador and a conduit to key customers and Senior Leadership.
- Stay updated on Eye Care marketplace and business developments in the region.
- Ensure legal/regulatory/compliance policy adherence; maintain integrity and professionalism.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) and 6–8 years of pharmaceutical/medical/related sales experience with technical knowledge, selling techniques, and medical terminology.
- Eye Care experience strongly preferred.
- 2–3+ years of management experience preferred (or equivalent combination of experience/education).
- Live within the geography of responsibility or within reasonable driving distance.
- Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record.
- Ability to travel (extensive overnight; evenings/weekends as needed).

- Proficiency in English (speaking, comprehension, reading, writing).

Compensation:
- Salary range: $148,000–$222,000 (exact compensation may vary by skills, experience, and location).
