Regional Sales Manager, Eye Care β Northeast
Responsibilities:
- Meets & exceeds corporate sales objectives for the Region within assigned geographies.
- Plans, directs, implements, and has full oversight of Territory Manager policies and activities for the Northeast region (New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania).
- Recruits, retains, and develops high-performing Territory Managers.
- Assesses developmental needs and provides individualized development and coaching guidance.
- Drives regional performance while adhering to compliance and regulatory standards.
- Provides consistent, proactive, and individualized coaching to Territory Managers; counsels the sales team to overcome performance deficiencies.
- Demonstrates company culture norms through actions, leadership style, and collaboration with partners.
- Fosters a people-first, high-performing culture focused on collaboration, inclusiveness, and accountability.
- Manages and allocates resources within the Region; ensures execution and pull-through based on potential and growth opportunities.
- Ensures Sales & Marketing plans are implemented effectively and align with corporate goals and objectives.
- Works closely with Sales Leadership and HR to address performance gaps.
- Reviews region data and dashboards to identify additional business opportunities.
- Establishes relationships with the Eye Care community; serves as an organizational ambassador and conduit to key customers and Senior Leadership.
- Understands the Eye Care marketplace and stays updated on regional business developments.
- Complies with legal, regulatory, and compliance policies; maintains integrity and professionalism.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications / Requirements:
- Bachelorβs degree (or equivalent) and 6β8 years of pharmaceutical, medical, or related sales experience with strong technical knowledge, selling techniques, and medical terminology.
- Eye Care experience strongly preferred.
- 2β3+ years of management experience preferred (or equivalent combination of experience and/or education).
- Lives within the geography of responsibility or within reasonable driving distance.
- Valid Driverβs License and acceptable driving record.
- Ability to travel (including extensive overnight travel) and work evenings/weekends as needed.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, applicable CRM, and similar databases.
- Proficiency in speaking, comprehending, reading, and writing English required.
- Supports the regulatory environment; ensures compliant product promotion with integrity.

Compensation / Benefits (if stated):
- Salary range: $148,000β$222,000 (exact compensation varies by skills, experience, and location).
