Responsibilities:
- Lead California region (California, Idaho, Washington, Oregon, and Nevada) to meet and exceed corporate sales objectives.
- Plan, direct, implement, and oversee Territory Manager policies and activities for the region.
- Recruit, retain, and develop high-performing Territory Managers.
- Assess regional developmental needs and provide individualized development and coaching.
- Drive regional performance while adhering to compliance and regulatory standards.
- Provide consistent, proactive, individualized coaching to Territory Managers and counsel the sales team to address performance deficiencies.
- Demonstrate company culture norms through leadership and collaboration.
- Foster a people-first, high-performing culture focused on collaboration, inclusiveness, and accountability.
- Manage and allocate regional resources to support execution and growth opportunities.
- Ensure Sales & Marketing plan execution aligns with corporate goals and objectives.
- Partner with Sales Leadership and HR to proactively address performance gaps.
- Review region data and dashboards to identify additional business opportunities.
- Build relationships in the Eye Care community; serve as an organizational ambassador and conduit to key customers and senior leadership.
- Understand the Eye Care marketplace and stay current on business developments.
- Comply with legal/regulatory/compliance policies and maintain integrity and professionalism.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelorβs degree (or equivalent) and 6β8 years of pharmaceutical/medical/related sales experience with strong technical knowledge, selling techniques, and medical terminology. Eye Care experience strongly preferred. 2β3+ years of management experience preferred (combination of experience/education considered).
- Live within the region (or within reasonable driving distance).
- Valid Driverβs License and acceptable driving record.
- Travel as required (extensive overnight travel; evenings/weekends as needed).

Compensation:
- Salary range: $165,000β$210,000 (exact compensation varies by skills, experience, and location).
