Position Overview
The District Sales Manager will lead and develop a team of motivated sales professionals to ethically and compliantly represent the company by providing approved disease and product information and resources to target Health Care Professionals (HCPs) and achieve business goals.
Responsibilities:
- Lead recruitment, screening, hiring and development of top talent for the assigned district
- Execute the strategic plan to achieve or exceed individual and company goals
- Make regular field visits; assess and monitor field activity, reporting requirements and work schedules
- Create, articulate, and drive a district vision; lead a team to reach and exceed goals
- Analyze performance data and market trends; build strategic business plans
- Apply deep knowledge of the disease area/ADHD marketplace and coach exemplary selling skills
- Manage growth and development of team members
- Provide performance management through timely, measurable feedback and annual reviews
- Review expense reports, monitor compliance training, and manage administrative tasks
- Uphold Core Values; be accountable for team goals
- Engage with peer District Sales Managers and participate in training and field team meetings
- Communicate to influence using facts and logical approaches; improve approaches to solve problems
- Continue to deepen technical skills; manage small teams or processes
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 6–8 years of related Pharmaceutical or Life Sciences experience; 3 years of management experience required
- Experience in ADHD Marketplace, Managed Markets, Marketing, Training and/or Operations preferred
- High integrity, accountability, and judgment
- Strong leadership and coaching skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word) required
Pay Range: $190,000 USD - $220,000 USD
