Responsibilities:
- Recruit, hire, coach, develop, and manage Account Managers to build a high-performing regional team
- Lead regional launch execution to drive awareness, demand generation, appropriate utilization, and sales performance
- Develop and execute regional business plans prioritizing key accounts, customer segments, market opportunities, and resource allocation
- Lead sales execution to compliantly meet and exceed sales targets
- Execute the approved marketing plan to maximize market penetration
- Identify and monitor local market conditions; build customer relationships and adapt strategies
- Ensure timely and effective delivery of marketing and sales tactics within the region
- Collaborate on goal setting and performance measures at all levels
- Use data/dashboards/performance insights to monitor results, identify gaps, coach, optimize execution, and guide resource allocation
- Set performance expectations; provide ongoing coaching/feedback; manage performance and disciplinary matters to ensure accountability and compliance
- Conduct regular field ride-alongs with account managers for hands-on coaching
- Build an accountable culture that drives achievement, engagement, development, and retention
- Ensure compliance with all field activities and company guidelines

Basic Qualifications:
- BA/BS from an accredited institution
- Valid driver’s license
- 7+ years in pharmaceutical/medical/related medical sales
- 2+ years district/regional field management experience
- Experience leading teams in hospitals, health systems, and large practice groups
- Understanding of hospital decision-making, clinical pathways, formulary management, and antimicrobial stewardship programs

Preferred Qualifications:
- Success leading high-performing hospital/specialty/account-based teams in complex healthcare environments
- Launch experience for specialty/anti-infective/infectious disease/hospital-based products
- Deep hospital/health-system/large practice decision knowledge (formulary, stewardship, pathways, protocol development, demand gen)
- Experience with multiple stakeholders (clinical/non-clinical)
- Account leadership within IDNs/health systems/academic medical centers/large group practices
- Demonstrated coaching ability and analytical/data-driven decision-making
- Anti-infective/hospital specialty/infectious disease experience strongly preferred; access enablement/demand gen experience preferred
- MBA or advanced healthcare/business degree preferred

- Regulatory/legal/compliance adherence; strong presentation/selling; Microsoft Office; excellent oral/written communication; analytical/technical with customer focus

Requirements:
- Travel up to 50% (including overnight)
- Ability to lift/move up to 35 pounds
