Responsibilities:
- Generate volume and market share growth for a designated region.
- Lead, direct, and manage Account Managers within a specific geographical area.
- Guide the team to achieve sales and business objectives; participate in and lead national/regional/local strategic meetings.
- Provide guidance to compliantly drive sales objectives to meet and exceed corporate forecasts.
- Monitor field activities to ensure compliance with guidelines; provide timely feedback on marketing tactics and market conditions (with leadership, commercial operations, marketing, and other business units).
- Lead, manage, and develop Account Managers’ skills and performance.
- Recruit, hire, train, develop, and coach Account Managers.
- Drive awareness, understanding, utilization, and sales of a launch product.
- Develop and implement business plans to achieve organizational objectives.
- Provide leadership to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Execute the approved marketing plan to maximize market penetration.
- Identify and monitor local market conditions; adapt strategies and build customer relationships.
- Ensure compliance with field activities and company guidelines; ensure timely delivery of regional marketing and sales tactics.
- Collaborate on goal setting and performance measures; use reports/tools to monitor goal attainment.
- Set performance expectations, oversee direct reports’ activities, ensure policy adherence, and provide continuous feedback.
- Conduct regular field ride-alongs and manage performance management and disciplinary processes.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 7+ years of pharmaceutical/medical/related medical sales experience.
- 2+ years of successful district/regional field management experience.
- Ability to travel domestically (including overnight); majority of time spent in market.
- Valid Driver’s License.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced degree.
- Experience launching a drug.
- Preferred: Hepatology experience.
- Experience leading teams in academic institution or IDN settings.
- Understanding of market strategy and tactical mix.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
- Strong project planning/implementation and cross-functional management.
- Ability to hire, lead, coach, and mentor high-performing teams.

Skills:
- Ability to adhere to regulatory, legal, and compliance standards.
- Exceptional presentation and selling skills; strong business acumen.
- Fluency in Mandarin, Cantonese, Korean, Vietnamese, or Tagalog (preferred).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Excellent oral and written communication.
- Strong analytical/technical abilities and customer focus.

Requirements:
- Travel up to 70% of the time, including overnight stays.
