Regional Sales Director - Southwest

Responsibilities:
- Generate volume and market share growth in a designated region by developing and managing Account Managers.
- Lead sales activities to achieve and exceed sales/business objectives and corporate forecasts.
- Recruit, hire, train, develop, and coach Account Managers; manage performance and disciplinary issues.
- Drive awareness, understanding, and sales of a launch product.
- Develop/implement business plans; execute approved marketing plan to maximize market penetration.
- Identify/monitor local market conditions; build customer relationships and adapt strategies.
- Ensure compliance with field activities, company guidelines, and regulatory standards.
- Conduct field ride-alongs for hands-on coaching; monitor field activities and marketing/sales tactic effectiveness using reports/tools.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelorโs degree.
- 7+ years pharmaceutical/medical/related medical sales experience.
- 2+ years district/regional field management experience.
- Domestic travel (including overnight); majority of time spent in-market.
- Valid Driverโs License.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced degree; experience launching drugs; Hepatology experience.
- Experience leading teams in academic institution or IDN settings.
Skills:
- Strong presentation/selling and business acumen; exceptional oral/written communication.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office; strong analytical abilities.
- Fluency in Mandarin, Cantonese, Korean, Vietnamese, or Tagalog preferred.
Requirements:
- Travel up to 70% (overnights).
Compensation/Benefits (US, per posting):
- Base salary: $182,250โ$303,750; annual bonus; eligibility for share-based long-term incentive; health/insurance, retirement, paid holidays/vacation, and paid caregiver/parental and medical leave.
