Regional Sales Director - Southeast

Responsibilities
- Generate volume and market share growth by developing and managing a designated region.
- Lead, direct, and manage Account Managers within the assigned geography; guide the team to achieve sales and business objectives.
- Recruit, hire, train, develop, and coach Account Managers; develop team skill sets and performance.
- Execute approved marketing plans to maximize market penetration; provide timely feedback on marketing tactics and market conditions.
- Develop and implement business plans; collaborate on goal setting and performance measures.
- Monitor local market conditions and build customer relationships; adapt strategies accordingly.
- Ensure compliance with field activities, company guidelines, and regulatory/legal standards.
- Use reports/tools to monitor goal attainment; conduct field ride-alongs for hands-on coaching.
- Manage performance management and resolution of disciplinary issues; foster retention and a rewarding team environment.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 7+ years’ experience in pharmaceutical/medical/related medical sales.
- 2+ years of successful district/regional field management experience.
- Travel up to 70% domestically (including overnight); valid Driver’s License.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree; experience launching drug; Hepatology experience.
- Experience leading sales teams in academic institution/IDN settings.
- Understanding of market strategy/tactical mix; strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills; cross-functional project management; ability to hire/lead/coach/mentor teams.
Skills
- Adherence to regulatory and compliance standards; exceptional selling/presentation skills and business acumen.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; excellent oral/written communication.
- Strong analytical/technical abilities with customer focus.
- Fluency in Mandarin/Cantonese/Koren/Vietnamese/Tagalog preferred.
